Oh how I don’t like talking about myself, it’s something I don’t really do naturally. But I know you are supposed to always do an About Me Page on a website. So here I go, I’ll try not to waffle.
My name is Maree Punzet, owner and operator of Maree’s Mobile Bookkeeping.
I’ve been in the Bookkeeping business for over 20 plus years, so without disclosing my age, I’m in the 40’s somewhere!! I am a mum to two growing boys, Oscar who is 16, almost 17 and Anton my youngest who is 13. Plus of course my best friend and hubby Tony.
We live in a small country town in NSW called Cobar. Prior to working in the bookkeeping industry, I worked for a Travel Agency for 12 years, but even back then, I took care of the book work when it was all manual, for both the Travel Agency and a Local Real Estate Agency.
Over the last 20 years I have helped clients from all over Australia with Data Entry, BAS, Bank Reconciliations, Tax, Cash flow, Business Advisory, Accounts Payable and Receivable.
My clients come from all different parts of Australia, so yes I am mobile, I travel to local businesses, but ultimately my clients are all virtual. Have never met them, but we regularly zoom / Skype / chat over the phone, whatever form of communication is easy for my clients.
My clients range from sole traders, to medium to large sized businesses and most of them are all located in other states. So really you could call me a Virtual Bookkeeper. Not only have I got years of experience, but I also make sure I keep my qualifications and registrations up to date every year.
