The Jobmaker Plan

Have you seen the Jobmaker Plan the Government has put together to create jobs and help the recovery of the Economy?

If not, click the link here to read more https://budget.gov.au/2020-21/content/jobmaker.htm

What the Government has put forward is a $74 billion Jobmaker plan to support economic recovery and get Australians back to work and on their feet.

Some of the core elements they are putting together are:

–       Infrastructure, the Government has invested an additional $14 billion in new and accelerated infrastructure projects across Australia over the next 4 years

–       Jobmaker Hiring Credit – $4 billion providing businesses with an incentive to take on additional employees aged between 16 and 35.

–       Energy technologies – The Government is investing $1.9 billion in new energy technologies which will reduce emissions.

  • Reducing red tape for businesses – The Government is incorporating a insolvency system to keep businesses in business and make it easier for consumers and small businesses to obtain credit.
  • Digital Business Plan – The Government is accelerating digital transformation by increasing productivity and job growth; therefore, their goal is a leading digital economy by 2030.

It will be interesting to see over the next 4 years how this Jobmaker plan will unfold and we hope that we all come out of this a stronger and economically sound country.

Are you part of the Construction Industry, here are some helpful bookkeeping tips for you.

How I love working for my clients in the construction industry.

The Construction industry have the unique experience of working with a range of employees, partners, outside contractors, businesses and individuals and all have various payment schemes.

Working within this industry, books can quickly become complex, hence why this industry in particular, should consider outsourcing to a Bookkeeper.

There are many different facets from reporting on incomings, outgoings, tax, super and benefits.

Construction accounting is very different is project driven. Construction workers are contractors who operate their own business around projects and these can be scattered on different sites and locations. Then you need to look at the different sites to consider the wage differences, equipment and transportation costs, the length of contracts can vary, orders and plans can change quickly and these changes need to be tracked diligently. You also need to look at the changes in the construction scope, design, site conditions, project schedule to make sure you don’t break the budget.

If you are struggling and work in this industry and losing track of your finances, then please give me a call. I have many years’ experience in this area.

The worst bookkeeping mistakes that most business owners don’t realise

There are a number of mistakes business owners don’t even realise they are doing and in my years of bookkeeping experience, I have seen so many.

  1. Not setting up your chart of accounts
If you are doing your bookkeeping yourself, try not to use what the bookkeeping software provides as it may not be relevant. It’s beneficial to build your own and also make sure your GST codes are correct.
  2. Setting up your Petty Cash account in Assets
If you have an office petty cash tin, it is not an asset. So, don’t setup an account for it.
  3. Not setting up payroll correctly
Oh, boy have I seen some doozies in my time. It is extremely important that payroll and employees have been setup correctly. Include the employees DOB, TF and ensure their penalty rates are correct and also don’t forget that your linked accounts are correct, which includes tax, superannuation etc.
  4. Reconciling incorrectly
This includes all bank and credit card reconciliation, BAS reconciliation and payment summaries and superannuation.
  5. Assets or liabilities as expenses
By now you should know the difference between the two, but many business owners don’t. I can definitely help you and explain the difference.

It sounds simple, but why would you do this yourself, when you can outsource this to me.

Keeping track of finances is a struggle, especially for cafes and restaurants

Do you fit that category?

Are you a business owner who owns a café or restaurant?

Those that work in this industry know how busy one gets with juggling staff, shifts, rosters, suppliers, cashflow, serving customers, taking inquiries, stock taking, cleaning, the list goes on.

I have many clients that work in this industry and you know why they outsource to me to do their Bookkeeping and BAS, because they don’t have the time.

Businesses in hospitality have the highest percentage of failure, due to poor record keeping, I bet you didn’t know that.

As a result, with little or no data, decisions are made on emotion, which is a bad thing when it comes to bookkeeping.

Statutory reporting for many cafes and restaurants can also be an issue with many supplier invoices being GST taxable, free or a combination.

Are you nodding your head in agreeance?

Once you have managed all your supplier invoices and then the rostering of employees, outsourcing to a Bookkeeping makes sense.

Nowadays since COVID, cafes and restaurants have had to come up with different ways to serve customers via delivery or for customers to pick up. Now that we are slowly coming out of the pandemic in different states, business owners are looking at better ways to serve their customers whilst maintaining social distance and following all hygiene precautions whilst still making sure food is served and delivered and ultimately the customer is happy.

It is a massive task for any business owner.

If this sounds like you and you need help, then please give me a call direct on 0429 363 047.

Are you behind in your Bookkeeping?

Are you needing help?

Are you behind in your bookkeeping Lodgements?

Many times, I have what you call, RESCUE JOBS.

Rescue jobs are those clients who have come to me with more then three months work that is behind.

For example, if you are in the following situation, then you are a rescue job

  1. Behind in your tax return lodgements
  2. Behind in your Superannuation contributions
  3. You haven’t lodged any BAS for months or even years

If this is you, I can definitely help you.

Many business owners are fearful that because they have put off their lodgements that they fear they will receive a HUGE BILL from the ATO.

Unfortunately, even though you probably will have a huge bill to pay, you may also receive penalties on top of what you owe for every quarter overdue in you haven’t lodged every quarter.

It can really add up.

Don’t take the mental burden of being behind in your obligations and let me look after your reporting, your BAS and your Tax Returns and everything in between.

It just takes one phone call to 0429 363 047 to rescue you.

Call me today.

The ATO has issued a reminder to businesses who may be subject to penalties for missing October 2020 deadline to fulfil their Superannuation Guarantee Obligations

Don’t be one of those businesses that is subject to penalties.

By law, the ATO has advised and reminded businesses they cannot extend the due date to pay superannuation.

If you have already missed the 28th October deadline to pay your quarterly SG contributions, you will need to lodge a superannuation guarantee by the 28th November 2020 to avoid penalties, after this date you will incur the penalties and believe me you don’t want to miss the deadline.

‘The ATO noted the superannuation guarantee charge is different to the regular contributions businesses pay and is made up of SG shortfall amounts, interest on those amounts (currently 10 per cent) and an administration fee of $20 per employee per quarter’

If you need assistance now, then please give me a call on 0429 363 047.

Your paying for my years of experience

When I speak with clients, some hesitate at the cost and say to me, that’s just too much money for BAS reviews and quarterly lodgment.

It is strange, when you think if you have a plumber or electrician come to your home to fix a leaking pipe or a faulty switch, do you ever say, wow, that’s too much money.

You don’t, purely because you know that the Plumber or Electrician is a qualified tradesman and they have spent years in training and courses to be highly skilled in their area of expertise.

It’s no different as a Bookkeeper/BAS Agent, I have spent countless years of study, over 20 years of experience working in client’s onsite locations as well as working online from home, many hours, late nights studying, working on problematic areas of businesses, so why is it any different?

It isn’t.

What I provide to you is not only a service, but I provide 20 plus years’ experience as well. Of course, there will be a cost to that. If I was in my first-year learning Bookkeeping, of course I wouldn’t be charging much, because I would still be learning and inexperienced.

So, don’t look at the price, look at the experience a person can provide you for your business, making sure you’re not losing money but saving money and your bookkeeping and BAS is correct, so you don’t have the ATO chasing you.

The ATO is warning businesses to stay up to date with their obligations

The ATO have been sending out notices to all businesses, warning them that if they are not staying up to date with their obligations, that is may in fact impact their eligibility for future stimulus measures.

In short, they are saying that businesses who are doing well need to resume their obligations whilst those that are facing ongoing hardship are encouraged to get in contact with the ATO.

Since September 1st 2020, the ATO has stopped providing blanket extensions to small business audit cases. The ATO have also recommended activity where the business is either not adversely impacted by COVID or is now in a position to progress.

The Budget 2020, what’s in it for SME’s?

Check out this link for further info, but the Budget 2020 was an interesting one.

https://www.mybusiness.com.au/finance/7527-budget-2020-what-s-included-for-smes?utm_source=MyBusiness&utm_campaign=06_10_2020&utm_medium=email&utm_content=1&utm_emailID=

There were a mixture of Tax Concessions, JobMaker hiring, whereby if a business hires a young job seeker aged 16-35 they will receive a JobMaker hiring credit of $200.00 per week for every new worker and $100.00 a week if they hire a new person aged 30 to 35 years. This is payable for the next 12 months, if that new person works at least 20 hours per week.

The other one I found particularly interesting was the $800m digital plan, to push businesses to adopt digital technologies post COVID.

Have a look at the link yourself and see what you think. Interesting times ahead for Australia.

Though if you are totally confused by it all, give me a call direct on 0429 363 047.

About Maree Punzet

Hi, I’m Maree Punzet, a mother to two boys who like many other mums out there with teenagers, one is finishing his High School Certificate this year and it’s been a tough one, doing assessments and exams during COVID-19.

I live in Cobar NSW, a mining town, a small community, where most people who live in Cobar for a while know the locals by their first name. Country towns are like that, everyone knows everyone, everyone knows your husband, kids, heck even the family dog’s name.

When I finished School I started out at the local shire, doing accounts payable, then I got a job at the local travel agency one of my jobs there was to keep the books this was back in the hand written bookkeeping days that was well and truly over 20 years ago, the 10 years ago I decided to start my own business.

I love numbers, finance, anything to do with Bookkeeping I just love it, it’s in my blood, my mum was an accountant. I am a Qualified Bookkeeper & BAS Agent and also been doing my certification to become a Tax Agent, though I do work closely with a Tax Agent. I am a sole trader, I have many people who look after my marketing, my social media, blogs, because I feel marketing is so important.

There are many many bookkeepers in Australia. Competition is fierce, so you need to stand out from the crowd.

I am happily married to my wonderful husband who I met whilst I was still at school and  it was love at first sight. Sickening I know, but when you know, you just know.

In my spare time I love dancing and I dance with our local dance group doing classes in Jazz, tap and Musical theatre.

So that’s just a small glimpse about me, Maree Punzet – Maree’s Mobile Bookkeeping

Every Bookkeeper should sight bank statements

There are a number of reasons why we as bookkeepers need to sight bank statements and the main goal by doing this is to make sure there is a recorded balance of your business and the recorded balance of the bank match up.

Here is why we need to sight your bank statements and reconcile your bank feeds.

  1. Validation – Data entry

Checking your bank statement, we can pick up any irregularities, such as duplicating entries, entering wrong amounts and data errors.

  1. Accuracy of Financial Statements

This is such an important one, where we check that your financial statements match those of the bank. Sometimes, on rare occasions, the bank may make a mistake, so normally it is the business owner that has, so checking that these match-up is paramount.

  1. Tax Reporting

This may sound simple, but making sure your reconciling your bank statement correctly so we can generate a correct tax return for you.

This just enables us as your bookkeeper to monitor and spot any irregularities between your financial statement and that of the bank. It is also a precaution to control theft as it prevents employees or others from stealing from your company.

To give you a prime example, we had a client once who had not done a bank reconciliation for 5 years. The client’s accountant had been doing the tax returns, but not checking it either. There were duplicated sales, missing expenses, everything you could think of.

Therefore, the client’s tax returns for the last 5 years were incorrect.  In this case, we had to go back and go through everything over the last 5 years.

If you’re someone that has been outsourcing your bookkeeping to another bookkeeper and they are not following these simple steps, then it might be time to look elsewhere.

Often, I come across business owners who have been ‘burnt’ by a bookkeeper, because what they thought they were doing was correct but they were not.

If this sounds familiar to you, then save yourself, time and stress and call Maree’s Mobile Bookkeeping on 0429 363 047 and outsource your bookkeeping today.

What is my point of difference?

Maree’s point of difference is she has over 20 years’ experience and qualifications as a Bookkeeper.

She is also a qualified BAS agent.

She isn’t a newcomer to the industry still learning the ropes. She is experienced in all facets of Bookkeeping.

She works hard for all her clients.

She is only a phone call away if you have a question.

She works for you. It’s not just a job to Maree, she loves what she does and this shows in the extra care and due diligence she provides to all her clients.

If you asked Bookkeepers what their point of difference is compared to others, you may not get an answer, because many bookkeepers wouldn’t be able to answer that. Where Maree can….she is there to serve her client, to provide advice, she is always on the end of the phone answering your question at any time, day or night.

This is what separates Maree from many other Bookkeepers in Australia. This isn’t just a job to Maree, of course it helps her family and pays the bills, but it is way more then that.

She works as a virtual arm to your business; she cares about your business, just like you do.

So, what are you waiting for?

Job Keeper Payment changes effective 3 August 2020

With all the recent changes, we now have confirmation of the following, this has been taken from the ATO Website.

“JobKeeper Payment changes

The government has introduced changes to the JobKeeper Payment, making it easier for you and your business clients to qualify. The new rules have now been registered and are effective from 3 August 2020.

The changes to these rules include:

  • employees’ eligibility for the JobKeeper Payment can now be assessed from 1 July 2020, rather than 1 March 2020
  • employees can now be nominated by new employers if their employment has changed since the JobKeeper Payment began. However, they can still only be nominated by one employer at any given time
  • employers have until 31 August 2020 to meet the wage condition for new eligible employees under the 1 July eligibility test for:
    • Fortnight 10 – commencing on 3 August, and
    • Fortnight 11 – commencing 17 August 2020.

Businesses can claim reimbursement for their new eligible employees between 1 and 14 September 2020, when they lodge their August monthly declaration.

Your eligible business and not-for-profit clients can still enrol at any time until the program closes”

So, what does this all mean?

In simple terms:

Originally you had to be a permanent employee or a long-term casual from the 1st March 2020, but the Government has changed it if you have been a permanent employee or long-term casual from 1st July 2020.

A couple of examples to give you that makes it simpler to understand.

  1. As long as the business you work did have a downturn in their business and was getting Job keeper since the start of the Health Crisis, if the business puts on an Employee in April 2020 for example, they can also apply and get Job keeper for that employee.
  2. If you have a long-term casual who celebrated 12 months or more working in your business in April 2020, you can now get Job Keeper for them.

If you are still confused and not sure about all these changes, please do not hesitate to contact me anytime on 0429 363 047.

Has the second Victorian lockdown affected your business?

https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/2020/08/06/jobkeeper-extension-eligiblity-criteria/

‘The second Victorian lockdown has forced the federal government to massively bolster the Job keeper program by significantly expanding eligibility criteria and allocating an extra $15billion to the scheme.

It shows that the Government is making sure that Australia and the wider community are being supported during this time.

What are your thoughts about the extension? Personally, I think it is fantastic.

Businesses have survived COVID-19 with the help of a Bookkeeper

There has been so much negativity in the news in Australia about businesses closing, people losing their jobs. But there have been many businesses that have thrived and survived during COVID because of the help of a Bookkeeper.

Not one of my present clients have had to cease my services, to be honest, my clients have contacted me during this time, to help them with all the changes of the Job Keeper, Job seeker and EOFY, so it’s been quite the opposite.

The clients I look after range from all different industries and all have survived this health pandemic and economic uncertainty. It proves that many businesses did not have to lay off staff, some have pivoted and looked at other ways to sell their products or services.

As a Bookkeeper and BAS agent, my work has probably increased a little due to more discussions on the phone, face time, emails with questions, but that is part of my job and I love helping my clients.

If you feel that it’s time to look at obtaining a Bookkeeper to help guide you through the COVID crisis, then please give me a call anytime.

I have worked in the industry for over 20 plus years, with qualifications and experience that is second to none.

My clients refer me, so will you!

In 2020, testimonials or if you want to call them reviews or referrals are GOLD. With the current COVID pandemic and economic crisis in Australia, the last thing you would think you would receive are testimonials from your clients, but this is exactly how my clients feel about me and I couldn’t be more thankful for their continued support over the years.

I enjoy what I do as a Bookkeeper and this is just icing on the cake, when you receive testimonials. Many of my clients have reached out to me since the beginning of COVID probably more so, then ever before, but that’s what I am here for, to support, to provide advice and guidance and to make sure that their business is running smoothly.

Here are just a few recent testimonials from clients.

I am very happy with Maree’s professionalism and service. She is very reliable. Her fees are very affordable.

The COVID-19 pandemic is having a wider economic impact then just financially, the concern is the mental health of small business owners

https://www.mybusiness.com.au/human-resources/7156-covid-19-wreaking-havoc-on-small-business-mental-health?utm_source=MyBusiness&utm_campaign=14_07_20&utm_medium=email&utm_content=2&utm_emailID=a4e9c39a71c818b32f3ea4e19578eb08e4c1bb37f2731e2f53df0320a967ae57

Many businesses according to recent research is showing that one of the highest related challenges is mental health, followed by financial concerns due to cash flow.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, many small businesses are feeling the direct impact of this pandemic with one in five business owners suffering from stress, anxiety and some have those owners are also suffering from depression.

“Businesses whose owners and operators are aged between 18 and 39 were most likely to agree that they had felt anxiety or stress (68 per cent agreed).”

The survey found retail and hospitality businesses were most likely to state the key business-related cause of mental health challenges was the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic impact (46 per cent)”

With the possibility of the Jobkeeper to be reduced or removed after September, this will have a direct impact on small business owners finances and cash flow, which will flow on to their mental wellbeing.

If you are going through a tough time at present, there are companies like Lifeline on 13 11 44 who help in Crisis Support.

Even though I am a Bookkeeper, I am speaking regularly with my clients who are going through hardship and anxiety. Not that I am a Counsellor, but if you have any concerns relating to your financial circumstances, I am only a phone call away.

The Fair Work Ombudsman is prioritizing COVID-19 workplace disruptions which include the Job keeper payment compliance

What that means is over the next 12 months, the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) are reviewing any underpayments in large corporations.

Fair Work Ombudsman Sandra Parker has confirmed that Aussie workplaces can expect a degree of flexibility in the FWO’s enforcement approach in the new financial year, especially those sectors heavily impacted by the coronavirus crisis’

There have been many sectors within the Australian economy that have been seriously impacted by COVID-19. The FWO will enforce workplaces of their financial positions and review the challenges each are facing whilst recovering from the health disruption. The FWO are trying to uphold the integrity of the Jobkeeper scheme through these appropriate compliance activities.

“Due to the impact of COVID-19 on Australian workplaces, the number of employers and employees seeking our assistance has grown significantly,” Ms Parker said.

“More than 60 businesses have come forward to self-disclose workplace law breaches, with a total of half a billion dollars owed to workers — and that’s just what we know about,” Ms Parker said’

In other words, many large organisations in Australia need to prioritise and review workplace relations systems to ensure their paying workers are receiving the entitlements. Areas such as the fast food industry, cafes, restaurants, horticulture sector, franchisors and sham contracting.

‘Ms Parker did, however, explain that the agency will provide education, advice, tools and resources to small business and those hardest hit by COVID-19’

The FWO will take into account those businesses and their financial circumstances.

Watch Out!!! The ATO is chasing those Job Keeper cheaters

https://www.news.com.au/finance/money/how-jobkeeper-cheats-will-get-caught-by-atos-allseeing-eye/news-story/ad0f088e04a423634100f21028ea5aa6

It makes you wonder how many businesses out there that are doing the wrong thing and so many are really in financial hardship.

Stories of people turning down business, claiming for payment for family members who don’t actually work within the business or full time workers who have not lost any hours, but still are claiming the Job keeper illegally.

It makes you think how this is going to affect our country, not only now, but years and years down the track. This money has to be repaid back, it’s not just the taxpayers, but our children and grandchildren who will suffer.

I just hope the ATO are able to chase the cheaters.

But if you yourself are not 100% sure that your legally entitled to Job keeper, then please contact me and we can go through everything, or if you know of anyone that is reporting illegally, the ATO have a Tip Off line on 1800 060 062.

Otherwise, call me on 0429 363 047 and we can go through this together.

ATO to begin Debt Collection in September 2020

Don’t get too excited as the ATO has cautioned that it has its eyes out and will be starting the debt collection restart.

The ATO are looking at recommencing the debt and lodgement intervention in September after it hit a pause earlier this year due to COVID-19

It will be a bit of a cliff-hanger if the government stimulus package such as Job Keeper comes to an end. They are calling it the September ‘cliff’

The ATO are focusing on small business which is currently the majority of tax debts, which hit $16.5 billion in the 2018-2019 financial year.

Did you know that almost one in five small businesses entered into a payment plan with the ATO during this time?

If you are needing assistance and need to get on top of your books before the ATO comes knocking, then contact Maree today.

What’s your thoughts on the minimum wage rise?

https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/minimum-wage-up-13-a-week-despite-coronavirus-recession-20200619-p55471.html

This excerpt is from the Sydney Morning Herald

‘Workers on the minimum wage will earn $753.80 a week, or $19.84 an hour after the rise, but employees in the sectors hardest hit by the coronavirus, including tourism and aviation, will have their wage increase delayed until February. Healthcare and other essential workers will get their rise in July while the rest of the workforce will have a pay boost in November. The wage increase also affects 2.2 million employees on industry awards tied to the minimum wage’

These are the industries that the minimum wage will affect.

Minimum wage increases by industry

    • Frontline health care and social assistance
    • Teaching and child care

    • Most other industries
  • From February 1, 2021 — hardest-hit industries:
    • Accommodation
    • Arts and recreation
    • Aviation
    • Retail
    • Tourism

Does this affect you as a business owner and do you have a business in any of these industries?

If you are not sure if you are paying the correct rates or paying your employees the correct award, let Maree help you today.

Do you know what TPAR is?

TPAR stands for Taxable Payment Annual Report.

In a nutshell TPAR tells us about payments that are made to contractors for providing services.

When you think contractors, these can include consultants, independent contractors, subcontractors, they can be operating as sole traders (individuals), companies, partnerships or trusts.

When you look at the report which is generally found on the invoice you receive, it should have the following

  1. ABN (Australian Business Number)
  2. The person’s name and address
  3. The gross amount you paid to them, for the financial year (including any GST)

The ATO will use this information to identify the contractor/s who may have not met their tax obligations, hence why this report is so important.

If your business falls under one of these categories.

  1. Cleaning
  2. Building & Construction Industry
  3. Courier/road freight/delivery
  4. IT (Information Technology)
  5. Security, surveillance & investigation

If you have a business under one of these categories, they you may need to lodge a Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), under the taxable payment reporting system (TPRS), by the 28th August 2020.

If your business is offering new or expanded services (as listed), due to the response of COVID-19 and the restrictions implied and you have been paying contractors to provide these services, then if you do not lodge your TPAR, the ATO can penalise for late or non-lodgement.

That is why it’s so important to make sure this is completed within the due date.

If you are concerned or need assistance, Maree is a Registered BAS agent and can lodge your TPAR.

For many business owners, I have answered many questions about the Job Keeper Package that the Government brought out for those that had lost 30% or more in income since COVID-19 hit our shores in Australia.

It is encouraging to see many business owners who took the stimulus package to put that money back into their business.

Don’t market yourself as a Bookkeeper, unless you are qualified

As a qualified Bookkeeper, with over 20 plus years’ experience and also a qualified BAS agent, it makes it difficult to see so many business people market themselves as a Bookkeeper, when they are not qualified.

Firstly, it’s false advertising and I see many Virtual Assistants and Consultants that advertise as another service they provide is bookkeeping. Bookkeeping isn’t just a side service offered to clients. Bookkeepers in this profession have spent years crafting their business, years of study, years of completing courses and updating their skills on a yearly basis, this is all part of the Bookkeeping Industry.

We cannot just advertise and never do anymore study on a yearly basis, because in this industry, you must keep up with the ever-changing rules and regulations and new software.

When I see people advertise they do bookkeeping, it’s not just data entry we do and that’s it, there is so much more and way more behind the scenes work we do.

So if you do outsource your work to someone that mentions they do Bookkeeping, make sure you actually see their qualifications because I would hate to see business owners learning down the track that an amateur, someone that hasn’t a clue about the ins and outs of the bookkeeping industry to be looking at your books, paying your staff, because as the old saying goes, ‘you pay peanuts, you get monkeys’.

If you are looking for a Bookkeeper that is highly experienced and easy to work with, then please give me a call, my details are below.

Job keeper Package – have you enrolled/applied yet?

Many businesses have still not enrolled or yet applied for the Job Keeper package.

Some reasons why they haven’t:

a) They did not have a downturn in business in March/April 2020, but some of those businesses have not re-checked for May, or have just assumed that there earnings have not changed.

b) Don’t miss out on the Job keeper package, if you think it’s too late to apply, because it isn’t

Contact Maree and she will help you and check if you are eligible or not.

Working in collaboration = All your EOFY needs under one roof

As a business owner myself and a qualified BAS agent and Bookkeeper of over 20 years, I work closely with Peter from Peter’s Tax and Accounting and we work hand in hand with Tax Returns and end to end year work between us both.

We have worked together now for many years and we have a great referral business between both of us. As some work is more bookkeeping and other work is more of Tax compliancy.

Working in collaboration with another experienced business owner not only helps me but helps Peter as well. Peter is a Chartered Accountant as I am a qualified Bookkeeper and BAS Agent, so we work on many clients returns, end of year work, BAS, reconciliation, STP, reporting, payroll.

We are both individual businesses and we both have separate clients to one another, but many times we have clients that we both look under, so you have basically two qualified businesses helping you under the one roof.

I must say it’s been a pleasure working in collaboration with Peter all these years and it’s always great to have someone else to speak to and ask questions too.

If you need any assistance with your TAX, EOFY, financials, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
